There are few devotionals, which capture the essence of depth and truth, using a single verse a day. As you read, you can see why F.B. Meyer stated, "I went to hear Dr. Surgeon but instead I heard the voice of God". Spurgeon writes from his own experiences and insights received from the hand of God. An example of this, is the March 10th devotional. Spurgeon highlights Job 14:1, which states,"Man...is of few days, and full of trouble.
