What was it that transformed the people of England during the latter half of the eighteenth century? J.C. Ryle reveals the answer to that question and, in so doing, holds out the hope for all the nations of the world today. This booklet is a reproduction of chapter two of Ryle's book, Christian Leaders of the 18th Century.
